About MealPrepTools.com
MealPrepTools.com is a free hub of tools, recipes, and guides that help you plan, cook, and track a week of meals without the guesswork.
Meal Prep & Chill. Master Your Week.
What we do
We build the resources we wished we'd had: calculators that give you your numbers in seconds, meal plans you can batch cook on a Sunday, and gear reviews that tell you what a product does well and where it falls short. Everything is free, and no account is needed.
MealPrepTools.com began with a few friends who shared fitness goals in college and struggled to eat well on a student schedule and budget. We wanted one place to track our numbers, find recipes, and pick products we could afford. That's still the idea behind everything here.
By the numbers: 100,000+ meal preppers in the community across our social media channels ยท 14 free tools and calculators ยท 0 accounts needed

How we create and check our content
- Sourced. Nutrition articles draw on guidance from USDA, NIH, WHO, ADA and AAP, and we link to our sources.
- Practical. Recipes are written for batch cooking, typically 2โ5 servings or more, with prep time, cook time and estimated macros per serving.
- Honest reviews. We note a product's limits, such as induction compatibility, grip, display size, and setup difficulty. If it isn't a fit, we say so.
- Respectful of cuisine. We use authentic names and techniques and don't water dishes down.
- Kept current. Titles and details are reviewed every year. URLs stay the same so your bookmarks keep working.
Our product guides are researched comparisons based on manufacturer specifications, published product details and widely reported owner feedback, not hands-on lab testing.

How this site pays for itself
The tools are free. MealPrepTools.com earns a small commission when you buy through some of our links, including Amazon Associates, at no extra cost to you. We also run display ads and occasional brand partnerships. Money never decides a pick: a product earns its spot by being useful. Read the full affiliate disclosure.
As an Amazon Associate, MealPrepTools.com earns from qualifying purchases.
Ads are separate from editorial picks. See our privacy policy for ad data practices.
Meet Chef Capy
Chef Capy is our capybara chef and unofficial taste-tester. Look for his one-liners next to product picks. He's unflappable, a little punny, and never wrong about a good container.
